Refund Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy is part of the Soul Tune terms (soultune.cc/terms.html). It is offered by SoulTweaks, the Australian business that makes Soul Tune. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record, which pays every refund.
1. Payments are non-refundable
Payments for Premium Monthly, Premium Yearly and Premium Lifetime are non-refundable, including subscription renewals. We do not give refunds because you changed your mind, no longer need Premium, bought the wrong plan, forgot to cancel before a renewal, or the gains on your PC were smaller than you hoped. Soul Tune Free has no time limit, so please try it, and read what Premium includes on our pricing page, before you buy. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (section 2), which cannot be excluded, or the refunds our terms promise if we close your paid account without a breach, stop offering Soul Tune, take a major feature away from a period you paid for, or change the terms and you cancel (terms sections 4, 16 and 17).
2. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service. These rights apply whenever you bought, and nothing in this policy limits them. Consumers in other countries keep the rights their own law gives them too.
3. How to ask for a refund
If you think you are owed a refund under section 1 or 2, email [email protected] from the email address you bought with, or ask on our Discord, and tell us which plan it is and what went wrong. You can also reply to your Polar receipt email. We reply within 2 business days.
4. How refunds are paid
Polar refunds the original payment method, including any tax you paid. Most banks show it within 5 to 10 business days. When a payment is refunded, Premium ends on your account straight away and it goes back to Free. Nothing Soul Tune changed on your PC is undone, and you can undo any change yourself at any time, on any plan.
5. Cancelling a subscription
Cancel Monthly or Yearly any time in Polar's customer portal ("Manage your plan" on soultune.cc, also linked in your receipt email), or ask us to do it. Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling stops future payments; it is not a refund of the current period, unless the Australian Consumer Law or section 1 requires one.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank: a refund is faster. An account with a disputed payment goes back to Free while the dispute is open.
